Attorney Discipline Defense
Amy J. Coco defends lawyers before the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
She handles matters at every stage: DB-7 Requests for Statement of Position, informal and formal proceedings, hearings before hearing committees, oral argument before the Disciplinary Board, and review by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She also represents lawyers in reinstatement proceedings.
Her practice covers the full range of alleged misconduct, including trust accounting and IOLTA issues, conflicts of interest, competence and diligence, communication, and violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Coco currently co-chairs the PBA Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility Committee and is a former chair and current Duty Officer for the ACBA Professional Ethics Committee. She has defended attorney discipline matters throughout Pennsylvania.
